  • 32+ years' arboricultural experience
  • Liverpool LGA specialists
  • Reports plus professional tree work

Who We Are

Liverpool Tree Permit Services prepares AQF Level 5 Arborist Reports for homeowners, builders, architects, developers, strata managers and commercial property owners throughout the Liverpool Local Government Area.

We are part of Arbor Express, a consulting and practical arboriculture business with 32+ years of experience in tree assessment, reporting and tree management. Liverpool Tree Permit Services exists so property owners and project teams working under Liverpool City Council's tree controls deal with arborists who work with those requirements regularly.

Liverpool City Council's Tree Policy states that Council will only accept a Tree Report prepared by a Consultant Arborist, defined as a professional holding an AQF Level 5, Diploma of Horticulture (Arboriculture). Every report we issue is prepared to that standard.

What We Do

Consulting arboriculture and professional tree work, handled together rather than handed between two businesses.

Arboricultural consulting

Arborist Reports for Council, tree removal and pruning reports, Development Arborist Reports and Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Tree Protection Plans, tree root investigation and mapping, tree health and safety assessments, and Project Arborist services through construction.

Professional tree work

Once an approval or a lawful exemption is established, the same team can carry out the approved tree removal or pruning, including emergency response and make-safe work for fallen, storm-damaged and immediately dangerous trees.

Tree removal and pruning

Specialist Assessment Capability

Where a situation calls for more than a visual inspection, we can bring formal risk methodology and physical investigation to the assessment.

QTRA and TRAQ tree risk assessment

Recognised tree-risk methodologies, used where a formal risk assessment is appropriate to the tree and its target area.

AirSpade root investigation

Non-destructive excavation and CAD root mapping where footings, driveways, services or excavation interact with a Tree Protection Zone or Structural Root Zone.

Resistograph assessment

Decay and internal condition testing for trees where structural integrity is the question being asked.

How We Work

For tree removal and pruning: assess, report, approval, tree work. For development: assess, report, protect, certify.

01

Assess

An AQF Level 5 Consulting Arborist inspects the tree or site and identifies the assessment Council requires.

02

Report

We prepare the Council-ready documentation, from a single-tree report through to a full Arboricultural Impact Assessment.

03

Approval or Protection

We support the Council approval pathway, or prepare Tree Protection Plans and root investigations for retained trees.

04

Tree Work or Certification

Once approved we can undertake the removal or pruning, or act as Project Arborist through construction to certification.

We work across the whole Liverpool Local Government Area, from the established urban centre to the rural lands around the Western Sydney Aerotropolis.
